Did you know that the coronavirus known as COVID-19 can cause skin rashes? The Dawes Fretzin Dermatology providers are staying up-to-date on all of the latest developments as more becomes known about how this virus can manifest in the skin. While non-specific rashes such as hives have been seen, other, more specific skin changes such as “COVID toes” have also been reported.

If you have a rash that you think could be related to COVID-19 infection, please call us for a Telehealth visit and let us know about your concern, but please do NOT come in to the clinic until after a virtual evaluation with a provider.
